How to Install gnupg software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

gnupg software package provides GNU privacy guard - a free PGP replacement, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install gnupg 

gnupg is installed in your system.

Make ensure the gnupg package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gnupg *

You will get with gnupg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
